London Fairtrade Schools Conference

9:30am-2:30pm, Monday 10th October 2016
Friends House, 173-177 Euston Road, London, NW1 2BJ

A conference for pupils, teachers and support staff in London. Get inspired by Fairtrade!

The highlight of the conference will be two special guests from Ghana. Esther and Samuel, both aged 15, are from cocoa growing communities. Their parents are cocoa farmers and are members of Kuapa Kokoo, the Fairtrade co-operative that co-owns Divine Chocolate.

Esther and Samuel are coming to the UK to talk to young people here about how Fairtrade makes a difference to their lives.

The conference will include workshops on Fairtrade cocoa, a make-your-own smoothie bike, and an opportunity to learn how to taste chocolate properly!

The conference is open to students aged 7-14 years old. Up to 2 adults and 8 students can attend from each school. Places cost £2 per student/adult. Please bring packed lunches. We will be providing snacks and drinks for breaks.

Please book places for your school by emailing [email protected] and paying the ticket fee of £2 per person.
